Interior Design
Form follows function. This statement defines the basis of interior design. Every building starts with an interior plan with the outer shell acting as only the skin to keep out the elements. Our designers create the details, select and locate the lighting, and choose the materials and colors to fulfill our clients needs. Custom cabinetry design, furniture selection, and purchasing round out our design departmentīs capabilities.
Ronald Kluchin Architects, Inc, has been responsible for the interior design for many fine and varied facilities; both new construction and renovation of existing. Designs include restaurants, retail stores, small offices, medical facilities and corporate headquarters. Good interior design encompasses the proper application of many disciplines. Efficient space planning raises productivity through proper traffic flow. The use of color can either stimulate or subdue. Sound can be used to mask voices in an open office plan or be a featured element of the atmosphere. New space-age materials are introduced everyday, making choices limited only by our designerīs imagination. These must also be balanced with the requirements of the latest building codes, ADA, OSHA, etc., as well as incorporating the most up-to-date electrical, lighting and mechanical systems.
